On December 19, 2009 I departed on a self-planned medical humanitarian journey to a remote rural mission hospital on the southern shores of Lake Malawi. Below is my journal of my preparation for, travel to and time spent in Malawi, more specifically St. Martin’s Hospital in Malindi, Mangochi. I will return to St. Martin’s with the mission of improving healthcare for the rural poor underserved people in Malawi. |
